Case Study - National Library for Health (NLH)

The NHS's National Library for Health (NLH) website aims to be "the best, most trusted health related knowledge service in the world".

Hyperspheric Solutions Ltd has been actively involved in the development of the system since 2002 and has provided services such as:

• The provision of a standards-driven resource management system to underpin the numerous Specialist Libraries within the NLH.
• The development of RSS harvesting, searching and aggregation tools.
• The development of OAI-PMH-compliant import and export tools.
• The provision of web services to allows 3rd-party systems to discover and retrieve resources held within the NLH.
• The migration of 3rd-party datasets and systems into the NLH.

These tools have been seamlessly integrated with the NLH's own Content Management System.
