Screenshots of the public version of the site are displayed here, but there are closed versions of the site available for use by certain schools in the pilot area too.

Was there really a cow on the roof of Hartley's jam factory during the Blitz? Read about it on WhatWasHere.com which aims to draw up a definitive "people's history" of Liverpool, starting in Walton, written by the people who actually live, work and play there. It's a completely community-focussed project, located in libraries and contains 100% user generated content.
