The Tees Public Health website is used to distribute local information about public health to stakeholders in several north eastern PCTs.

Content within the site was migrated onto Hyperspheric's integrated knowledge management, collaboration and networking platform - Fountain - in Spring 2007 as a transition from an earlier bespoke system commissioned by the Department of Health.

The Tees Public Health site benefits from Fountain's features, such as:

• Easy-to-use tools for adding documents, creating web pages and assembling handy "bundles" of useful information focussed on topics, events etc.
• Fine-grained access control to restrict access to sensitive documents.
• Powerful search facilities, including federated searching – to deliver information to users based on its content and context.
• Compliance with standards such as e-GMS, e-GIF, public health standards such as the Public Health Language and accessibility standards such as WCAG.
