The National Library for Health web site is being developed for NHS Connecting for Health and is a step towards the development of a fully integrated library service for the NHS. Hyperspheric Solutions is one of several companies working on the system.

Hyperspheric Solutions has carried out work on numerous areas of the National Library for Health web site, including:

• Development of a search engine to allow flexible retrieval of metadata from the underlying resource management system.
• Development of a new front-end for the Specialist Libraries in ASP.Net.
• Development of syndication services, such as RSS feeds.
• Development of a system to manage a directory of RSS feeds.
• Development of interfaces to allow resources from the NLH's resource management system be searched as part of the Single-Search Environment.
